Thoughts on Path

This is my first full water cooled build. Decided to move up from AiO cooling when I got this Phantek Primo case.

Top Rad is 480x45 and bottom is 280x60 pump is D5. My question is this is my preliminary tubing path.

I think I like all but the return line from CPU to the reservoir. Right now it just goes diagnol to the closes tray grommet exit and to pump. Thoughts would it look odd to go horizontal over RAM and exit thru tray exit. Or is this the cleanest look, I had thought run GPU to CPU to Rad then Rad have a 90 degree to behind like the bottom rad, but not sure temps coming off two R9 280X right into CPU.

Yeah sorry for photo quality build log is easiest on my phone, but once it is complete planning on doing good photo shoot. As Alphacool will pay 15 for photo's and 30 for short video.

Anyone have any real world testing on temp differences running GPU to CPU to Rads verse Rad to GPU to Rad to CPU? My search is coming up with some people say 2 degree Celsius but no good links to actual test.

I guess if you're a gaming kind of guy i would suggest GPU to CPU, but if your more of a Workstation guy then CPU to GPU

This is gaming rig exclusively. My workstation is 24 thread VM sitting in server rack in temp controlled room at work.

Then i suggest you concentrate your cooling on the GPU as the fresh water comes in to the gpu first

TBH, I think you've pretty much nailed it there. Short of running two loops, I think what you've done there is the best way to look after every component in the system. Looks good in the Primo, sure do have plenty of room.

Yeah, I played with GPU to CPU to Rad and it looked horrible just didn't flow I did change my 90 swivel to 90 fixed angle seemed to clean it up. I settled on this and installed the compressions

By the way the back space is wonderful in the Primo here is the lines path in back.
