Asus X99-E WS Motherboard

Add this one to the Asus X99 line up although this one is "Workstation Grade". You get lots of PCIe 3.0 slots which If I'm not mistaken this board supports for 4-way CrossFireX and SLI running at 16x speeds.

All for a friendly $519 MSRP will probably be cheaper once available at Newegg & Amazon.

Looks good, although the gray blue accent would be better imo if they would be pure gray. Still this is easily one of the best looking x99 boards i've seen so far (no stupid bright red)

Actually, one thing that slightly worries me is no USB 2.0 ports. If that is the case, then how will ASUS bios flashback work? USB 3.0 doesn't work driverless

The ESATA ports might double as USB 2.0 ?

Fucking beautiful, i want one. There is just something about a full bank of x16 PCIe slots that makes a motherboard looks amazing. To bad I'm waiting for skylake-e before my chip goes anywhere (unless i kill it.).

Desktop -  i5 4670k, GTX 770, Maximums VI Hero, 2X Kingston Hyper X 3k in raid zero.

Laptop - Lenovo X230 Intel 535 480GB, 16GB Gskill memory, Classic Keyboard Mod, Triple USB 3.0 Express Card.

That is nice and all but if you wanna go cheap on X99 like I do this is way too expensive.

Its very nice to start seeing all black motherboards on the high end side. I hope this trend continues towards the mid range and low end stuff.

Do those ethernet ports support teaming? Also are they 10gbit?

Why does everyone has to release so many nice-looking X99 MoBos

And is that dual 8-pin for CPU power?

Yes, because the Haswell-EP Xeons will be up to 18 cores and will require a lot of power 1 8-pin should be enough for the E-series unless you really want to push the 5960x.

Eh all black is boring. The accents on this are really well done though.
