What GPU for two 4k monitors? (not for gaming)

Hi guys, my dad wants to purchase two 4k monitors, and I want to choose the right GPU for him. He uses cubase and doesn't need it for gaming.  What gpu would you recommend for doing this?

Thanks:)

PS the cpu be a 4930k or 5820k  :P

I suggest an R9 290X, because of the large amount of VRAM to pump out more than 16.5 million pixels.

Though what will he be using this setup for???

CPU: Intel i7 8700K | CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 | RAM: Kingston HyperX 2x8GB | Motherboard: Asus ROG Z370-E | GPU: MSI GTX 970 | HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB & 2TB | SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB & 970 EVO M.2 500GB | Case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X | PSU: Silverstone Platinum Strider 1100W | Monitor: AOC i2367Fh | Headphones: ATH-M40X | Mic: Antlion ModMic 4 | Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB w/ MX Browns | Mouse: Logitech G502 HERO

something with enough vram,perhaps a 290/290x or even a 780 6gig edition

cubase shouldnt use much vram but purely to drive the monitors you will need a good chunk of it.

thats 8 times 1080p   :o

not sure about the ports tho...lemme see

i would say a 290 should do.

its not for gaming so. you dont need mindblowing fps numbers

Cubase is an editing program for digital audio

Does you dad know the downsides of 4k? the scaling is quite annoying apparently

If it snot for gaming or anything serious then pretty much ANY GPU that supports 4k resolutions, its power and VRAM are not important

not enough vram?

I don't understand how you could use 2Gb of vram if you're not gaming?

EDIT: 760 4GB?
