GPU disliking display?

bandgeek12345

i recently did a mobo/cpu upgrade for my brother. and now his screen doesnt like the gpu. he has 2 screens. one is hooked up to the onboard of the mobo and the other is hooked up to the gpu. the AOC monitor (1366x768) works fine on the onboard but displays black green and blue colors when connected to the gpu. the other screen V7 (1280x1024) works fine using either plugin onboard or gpu. the AOC monitor doesnt work right when only plugged into the gpu. they both are using the same vga to dvi adapter during testing. and it used to work fine b4 the upgrade. any help? thanks. let me know if you need more info.

cpu fx 6300

you might need to update your BIOS for the mobo

and also make sure you have installed the latest AMD drivers version 14.4

the old BIOS sometimes do not work as it does not recognize the new GPU

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
