WRT54GL class c network

Rekx
Go to solution Solved by KTFO|SGTmoody,

So are you asking how to setup a class C network on that router?

Wikapedias view on class's.  Look at the table:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classful_network

Its all to do with your subnet mask.

The subnet you stated is a class C network.  you can have up to 253 Ip's in that network ( I think thats correct with the ip numer, its close anyway)

You might want to let us know exactly what it is you dont understand and how you need to complete your task.

So I'm suppose to setup a class c network. I have tried to Google it. But I can't seem to find a proper answer.

I'm working with a WRT54GL. I somewhat undrstand what a class c network, but I'm not 100% sure if I have done it right, or understand it.

My subnet mask is 255.255.255.0

No one refers to address blocks as classes anymore, as a heads up...

Haha properly not. Same can be said about things we use at our school.
