Cheero Energy Plus review

Decided to pull the trigger and buy one of these and i'm actually impressed with what they did with this product.

Packaging was okay, it came in a plastic enclosure that wasn't hard to open at all, wrapped in a layer of bubble wrap, with bags of air around it, in an amazon labeled box.
Packaging could have far worse and I still wouldn't have minded because this thing is just a brick. I doubt anything could have been damaged in shipping. The unit itself is quite large, it's about half an inch longer than an iPhone 5s with a lifeproof case on it.

Owners manual (1 page folded)
1 AC to USB adapter
1 USB to Micro USB (I believe) chord
1 Cheero Energy Plus Unit

If you don't like chinese products, this isn't a product for you. The box has chinese lettering all over it (may be japanese, i'm not sure how to tell the difference yet)

When I first received the unit, I plugged it into the wall right away. 4 hours later, came back and saw it was fully charged. 

Afterwards I decided to drain my iphone battery and see how many times I could charge my iphone 5s from 10%-100% on one charge of the cheero energy plus.
Needless to say, i'm impressed. It gave me 6 charges from 10-100% and one charge from 10-75% before running out of juice. 

Because this thing is so large, I don't see myself carrying it around in my pocket, on a daily basis, but I could definitely see myself taking this camping with me, or anywhere where I'm not sure if i'll be able to charge my phone for a while (conferences, etc) 

For $30 bucks, it's pretty damn good deal too.
