Does your room temp go up when you game?

Well... Components heat up and the heat has to go somewhere, and that place is the room where the PC is at. It may or may not heat up the room significantly, but that's where the heat escapes, so...

 

My room is pretty much the second sauna of our home when I play games. Gotta love a dual GPU Fermi card...

290 crossfire makes a noticeable increase in room ambient aha (probably around 5-8 Celsius)

290x lightning user here, previously used 2 780's overclocked to 1.325v and a 3930k overclocked to 4.9 ghz @ 1.45v.

Absolutely, since I got my laptop I've tried running my setup off of it as I'm not playing as many games as of late. And my room was noticeably cooler when my PC was off

I can feel the warm air exhausting the GPU rad, but it doesn't change the room temp. The room I game in is quite large and we're in an air-conditioned basement apartment.

I don't notice it because I got my AC running pretty much whenever I'm using my computer but when I don't have it on it does get semi-warm

Yes about 5 degrees C i remember playing max payne 3 with a room temp of 40c

Furnace.. I keep a window open when i game, as it's above my PC some of the heat escapes from there.

Yes. I even have an air conditioner in my room. and on my days off from work, admittedly I game quite a bit and my room gets warm even with AC on nearly all day.

Yes, without any ventilation, my room gets up to 32 degrees C.

Our thermostat is upstairs so the AC turns on based on the upstairs temperature, plus I am at the end of the line for the AC vents, so when I game I get only a bit of air and most of the time the AC isn't even on because all the other rooms are cooler. Even downloading something overnight will make me sweat by the morning.

Since playing intensive games or doing heavy tasks pushes our chips to their limit and therefore run hotter, do YOU notice that it's warming up in your room? This isn't aimed at any specific user, but overall does it get warmer in your opinion? I don't know if I'm just crazy, but sometimes I think that playing BF4 might make things slightly warmer in my room.

In the summer time yes, in the winter no.  My room is in the basement so it tends to get a bit chilly in the winter, usually have to use an electric heater.

Sure it will heat up the room, not too bad but certainly noticeable when I leave.
