Does your room temp go up when you game?

Since playing intensive games or doing heavy tasks pushes our chips to their limit and therefore run hotter, do YOU notice that it's warming up in your room? This isn't aimed at any specific user, but overall does it get warmer in your opinion? I don't know if I'm just crazy, but sometimes I think that playing BF4 might make things slightly warmer in my room.

When I had my mining rigs turned on, after an hour you could tell it was warmer in the room

i only notice it if i get up and leave the room, then come back

Hell yeah, I can have both my windows open in the winter and it's still 80F in my room when I game/fold and I live were it's usually -10F to 10F in the winter granted I'm folding on 4 machines in the fall/winter months.

When just my netbook is on, no. But when I turn my Dell on, yes. And I don't game on either of them.

Yes, can go up easily by 3-5 °C on intense games and everyone used to tell me that it was hotter than some summer days.

Mine just warms up while idle. I 'idle' at 25% CPU usage.

Not really. Only my desk area gets warmer and even then I never notice. I also once put a thermometer inside my case and the ambient temperature in the case was actually quite low and the outside of the case was like a degree or two warmer.

 

Go figure.

 

Add-on: When I say degrees I mean 'Murica degrees.

Yeah, I have Hawaii, and the heat that is taken away from the GPU has to go somewhere...

My room get's pretty damn warm while gaming.

I only use exhaust fans in my case so yeah, gets toasty in here.

The temps go up hugely when my reference 290 is at full load. Especially noticeable in the summer months lol

I have no air-conditioning so with normal temps ranging from 32-37C, the room reaches 36-41C...
