K70 RGB in Brown and Blue switches?

Hey guys, once the Corsair K70 RGB was announced they said that the keyboard would be available in Red, Blue, and Brown switches. But they only advertise Red switches on their website. Is there anyone that knows if they will be released in blues and browns? because I want a RGB keyboard that has Cherry switches. Thanks guys!

They arent released yet, but they are coming shortly.Im waiting for the Blues, they said it will take longer for the blues and browns :P

They probably advertise the Reds more because most gamers use them.

The original rumour was that they'd be released in blues and browns within a month of the reds being released, however they also said that all three switch types would be released by now, so I don't know if the one month later thing is true or not.

Corsair will be releasing the Reds first and Browns and Blues later. I guess that the Reds are more popular so they would release it first.

Not necessarily a bad thing. We still don't have much info on the new cherry rgb switches and how easily they die. It would be much better wait for a "beta test" group to make sure the rgb switches are as reliable as Corsair is making them out to be.

Such a key does actually exist. seven LED colors and eight different switch types (Red, Blue, Brown, Black, Clear, White, Grey and Green) ....hence, Ducky named it the 78Version. Please excuse my hairy legs.....didn't realize they were in the frame when I took the pic.

No idea actually, but I guess it was done as a novelty (and a limited edition/run), 399 pieces were made after all....no more than that.

Also waiting for the Brown version of the K70. What I'm wondering though, is whether there will be different layouts.I'm used to type on AZERTY (French/Belgian layout) but I haven't even seen a normal brown switch K70 with that layout.. so yh :/

Oh, it's from a local distributor of gaming peripherals.....I did not bother because I'm getting a KUL ES87 with MX Clear tomorrow, with a Ducky YoTH preordered and fully paid for from the same shop. BTW, the KUL ES87 is from the same shop as well.

I'd prolly look at a K70 RGB, or better yet, a K65 RGB, with MX Green or Clear. I don't quite like Blue anymore.....and simply detest Browns.

Why do you detest browns? Just curious, as I have browns on my Ducky Shine III currently, and am on the edge of what to get on my K70 RGB (red/brown/blue)

It's just personal preference, I did like Brown initially, but now find it not tactile enough, it feels 'mushy' for want of a better word. I prefer heavier/stiffer switch types, hence my preference for Clear, Green, White and even Black. Heck, if Corsair releases a K65 RGB with MX Black, I'd be all over it like a bad rash. :D

Yeah, I feel ya. I'm honestly pretty on the fence as to whether or not I want browns or reds (blues maybe but the noise can be a bit too much). I'm pretty sure I would bottom out the key on most keystrokes when I type, but I feel like it might feel weird not knowing when the key actuates.
