THADEMON

Sooo I want to restore/wipe my laptop to the point wheres its like its brand new. Thing is I don't know how or where to do that... System restore isn't working the way I want it to. Any tips? Should I just delete everything and then re install Windows..... IF that is even possible...

use one of those system recovery disks that came with your laptop or burned them if you don't want to back up your data and start fresh

your laptop should have a recovery partition

which can be activated upon bootup

refer to your manual on how to activate it

note that everything will be wiped

Some manufacturers have software where you can create your own recovery disks.  Dell for example has a backup and recovery software package. The paid version will do regular system backups but you can use it to create factory image restore disks as well.  What is the make of your machine?
