Not sure about how they sound, but I'm sure they sound good considering the rating.

Those look good but volume control on the back of the sub sounds pretty stupid...

Check out the Logitech Z313

Well, I wouldn't touch the volume knob very often as I'd just be adjusting it on the computers end.

I was looking at those, as well as the Z323 (albeit a bit more than I wanted to spend) and:

they could always just leave that up then change their PC volume to adjust it, or get a sort of in-line control for it.

Would you say those are better* than Z323 s or Rosewill SP-6340? I saw the wattage is much higher...but, idk---I don't really know much about speakers.

*better, or at least very similar--would either of the other two be worth the extra money?

They're better then the Z313 I know for sure. I used to have a set, and they're noticeably better then the Z313s that are upstairs. They'll probably be around on par with the Rosewill, but they're cheaper.

Any idea how they'd compare with the Z323s?

The Z323s aren't that of a big improvement from the Z313.

Well, I guess that settles it...unless I decide to spend more and get something like the Z623s.

Is the added power even a big deal with computer speakers...You usually aren't blasting them, and you're usually fairly close to ten anyway, unlike stereo speakers.

I had the Z623 before my giant (ghetto) stereo rig I have for my PC now that's even louder

I listen to music really loudly so yes the more power the better for me. lol

well, I've never been the person to blast sound... When I watch something (in a quiet room) I tend to stick to around 60db (well, according to the db meter I have on my phone--however accurate that is)....

Meh, I'm sure those Cyber Acoustics are good enough.

I actually had those Cyber Acoustics for quite a few years before losing the speakers when I moved (only being left with the sub, which was useless without the speakers anyways). They're more then good enough for people who just sit at their desk listening to stuff at moderate volumes

So, I'm contemplating if its worthwhile spending more to get a really nice pair of speakers...

I have a pair of Logitech UE6000s as my current headphones, and I love them...so any speaker system that can match them is what I'd really like...
