steam failure

hi,

i have a few steam games installed on my pc, but when i go to steam it says i dont have them installed while i clearly have.

with gta4 this isn't a problem because i can launch it via the .exe in windows explorer.

but when i want to play far cry 3 I can't because it goes via steam and wants to install the game.

i would like to be able to play far cry without reinstalling the game because of the savegames so is there a solution to this???

Did you move the steamfolder?

 

  Edit *And if so go to settings and chose new download folder and pick your old one and then you should have your games* TRY IT

i added a steam library to the place where it already was, it works now, thanks
