Will a GTX 750Ti MSI OC Edition fit in this motherboard?

ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0

 

I heard about PCI compatibility and incompatibility .

 

Because the motherboard supports PCI 2.0 and the graphics card is PCI 3.0.

You can put a PCI-e 3.0 card in a 2.0 slot and it will work just fine.

Because I saw a video saying that you must be beware that if you put a PCI 3.0 into PCI 2.0 It'll not work.

And if it works, there are any performance issues?
