do i need the walking dead season 1 installed for my choices to be carried over to the second season?

as title says, i finished the first one ages ago and uninstalled the game for drive space and i just bought the second season today. do i need to have the game installed for my choices to carry over or is it on the steam servers?

It does not support Steam Cloud, so I'd imagine the game needs to see the first season files.

so that would mean id need to play over again?

Do you have the first game's save files in their default location on your computer (without the game installed)?  If so, then I'd imagine you'd be fine.  However, if you do not have your save files from the first game in the default location, the second game will probably not see them if that makes any sense.

By default, games with Steam Cloud support will save your game progress to the Internet.  You have to manually disable this if you do not want this feature.  You don't really have to do anything.  It just works.  If you wish to manually manage your game saves, you must disable it.

How to use steam cloud:

1) Install game

2) play game

3) save game

 

Steam cloud is just an automatic thing, it just uploads your saves automatically

put of getting it because the first game was shortish and they were charging so much for it i was waiting for it to go on sale at a good price

 paid $30 for season 1, well worth it IMO
