Looking to upgrade from Iphone 5 to windows phone/Need Suggestions

SacredChili

Hello, I've been using an iphone for quite some time and im getting bored with the layout and what not and want to try something new. Was wondering if some people could give me suggestions on whats out there and or what is coming out in the future to look for, thanks! Also, I don't really have a price limit so just list anything you think is noteworthy!

If you want Windows Phone, HTC One M8 WP Edition (but Verizon only I believe, if that's an issue)

If you want Android, the Nexus 5 is great, and really cheap off-contract. That or the OnePlus One (If you can get an invite).

Everyone will recommend the M8 for Android, but I think that the brushed metal build doesn't feel as nice as the Nexus 5's soft rubber. Plus dat bright red :o

Or just wait for the iPhone 6 ;)

When if you really want WinPhone, pretty much any Lumia- those would be the best experiences, as they're now made by the WP creators :)

But for real, Nexus 5. I hate both Android and WinPhone (I got bored of iOS and tried both, I'm now back), but Android would be better, as the apps are functional.

As a Windows Phone user for the past year and a half (Lumia 920) I DO NOT suggest switching to windows phone yet. I'm running wp 8.1.1 in developer preview, it runs great, the OS itself is super stable, superb quality. 0 dropped calls since I started using it.
BUT the apps are HORRIBLY coded, the lack of them is still disturbing, there are quite a few High quality apps but no as many as there are on iOS and Android.

Yea I'm not completely sure that I don't want apple anymore, but I may wait for the 6 just to see what its all about, not sure yet.
