Huge Issue with Windows 8.1 and GIGABYTE P34G

Hello Everyone!

I recently purchased the GIGABYTE P34G after watching Linus' review and his appraisal of it. The Laptop is fantastically fast and does everything that Linus mentioned. However, there is an issue which has been bugging me insanely for the past few days. The issue is the 1920x1080 screen on the 14" monitor. I am having lots of issues with most programs involving High DPI Scaling. Basically all the programs when installed are very blurry and the text is fuzzy and difficult to read, and gives me headaches. After many google searches, I found that one 'fix' was to change the properties of the program and tick 'disable high dpi scaling' or something along those lines. Yes, doing this did get rid of the blurry text, however, its has effectively made the program the size it should be on a 1080p monitor of a larger size, and squashed it into the 14" screen. This means that everything becomes in proportion but is tiny, Text is very hard to read, and everything is difficult to use.

I'm sorry for the long post but after spending a large sum of money on this laptop I really this issue can be resolved. So guys, what can I do to fix this issue? If you do not understand what I mean, please take a look at the attached photo which shows me splitting two programs, chrome and steam on the same screen. Yes, chrome looks like it is too big and steam is the right size, however consider the size of the screen. Steam is actually tiny and is very hard to read.

I hope you guys can help me :)

Cheers,

Ditch

Hey,

I've tried to increase overall scaling in the Display Settings but it doesnt do much at all, only increases the size of the taskbar and not programs inside the OS. Any other help?

Yeahhh I have and it seems to do not much at all :( It seems like each application has just shrunk itself to fit a 1080p window of a larger size :/
