^This'll be perfect but @farnorazaki your friend isn't planning to OC you said, either get a 4570 and save him some money,or drop the cooler and just upgrade it to Xeon 1230V2 (which is a quadcore w/ hyperthreading) to give him some headroom incase games start using the extra threads, Maybe get a slightly cheaper PSU a 290 isn't gonna zap 750W maybe look at a 600W instead save him some money or upgrade le 290 to a 290x or a nicer case

You could go with this build, or with the case above, and it would be closer to your budget.

but in the future, the OP friend could regret not having the OC option.

idk why you would go with dominator platinums lol

and because you went with platinums, you missed out on the chance to get a 290

I like the aesthetic but I will change just because it does take it over a little and the SSD keeps me from a 290 just because I think they are required to have a good system.

I just think the GPU sacrifice is negligible and worth it :)

Love how yours costs more and you didn't really change much, You got a more expensive slightly worst(IMO) HDD, CUT SSD space in half, got a better OCing CPU when the guy isn't planning to OC, WORST RAM(Corsair DOA and RMA rates are higher than Adatas) that again costs more, but the Case I'll agree to that atleast xD  Seems kinda like an attempted to change thing to what you'd buy based on your preference that didn't really do much good

the performance difference between an r9 290 and 280x is tremendous, just like a 770 and 780, but the prices are much closer.

Fair enough. Still think the SSD is worth it. Though if he wants the can 86 the SSD for now and get the 290 and always get an SSD later. :)

Works on my phone's internet , I don't know what's going on with desktop. I think we'll get an r9 290, because he wants to be able to max out all games at 1080p.
