$100 1080p monitor?

Hank_Tech

I'm sick of using my huge TV as my monitor and want an actual PC monitor. Im looking to spend around 100 bucks, want a 24 inch screen, and 1080p. I really like the look of the Dell S2340M with the small bezels and glossy display. Is there anything similar to that?

Well I meant around 100 bucks. I didn't want people recommending like $200+ monitors $130 is fine. What would you recommend for that price?

If you really wanted to stay in your budget the only thing you could find would be a 1600x900 monitor. The cheapest 23 inch IPS monitor I could suggest would be the AOC i2367Fh which is $150. You could get a cheaper 21.5 inch IPS for $130.

$20 more and 0.4 inches too short but size doesn't matter right?: http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_1195_700_1103&item_id=068694

Just make sure you have a DVI/HDMI cable

That's $119 CAD right? If so, then that's just about $100 USD. How are PLS panels? I've never had any experience with them.

EDIT: Nevermind, that deal is in store only, so I can't get it :(

I found an Acer G245H for 95 dollars. How is this monitor? Its 24 inch 1080p@60hz, but I'm not sure of the panel type. It just says LED display, so I'm not sure if it's IPS, PLS, VA, or whatever. It claims to have 170 degree horizontal and 160 degree vertical, so what panel type would this be closest to?

Well if it has those viewing angles then possibly an IPS panel, go for it!
