Budget Gaming PC - first time builder

Hi, I would really like som advice on a machine I have found on the website komplett.dk

It is this system:
https://www.komplett.dk/saml-selv-intel-entry-gamer/794920
The website is in Danish, but the hardware is descriped in english.

PC parts list:

Case: Cooler Master Elite 311 black/silver
PSU: Cooler Master B500, 500W PSU
CPU: Intel Pentium Anniversary Edition G3258
RAM: HyperX Fury DDR3 1600MHz 4GB Black
MB: MSI B85M-E45, Socket-1150
HDD: Toshiba Desktop 500GB SATA 3.0
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 750 1GB PhysX Cuda
DVD (Not required by me, but is included): Asus DVD Writer, DRW-24F1ST

Total: 3.000 DKK or 533,86 dollars

1. Budget & Location

My budget is 3.000-3500 dkk which translates to about 500-600 dollars.

2. Aim

The PC is aimed for gaming. The video games which I will be playing are Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, Hearthstone and perhaps shooters such as CS:GO and Battlefield / Call of Duty

3. Monitors

I plan to run 1 monitor, and in the future I would like to add one more. It would be perfect if it was running at 1080P

4. Peripherals

I already have peripherals and a copy of Windows.

5. Why are you upgrading?

I am building a PC because my laptop runs too hot then playing video games such as Hearthstone, which I believe doesn't require much to run.

So my question to you is: is it worth the money, and will I be able to play the games mentioned smoothly?

Thank you very much for your time, and I hope to get some good feedback.

Build one yourself rather than buying a premade one that is more expensive and performs worse.

If you are aiming for that price range then this build is alright, but I suggest you go with 8GB of RAM instead of 4. 8GB and up is always best for gaming. If you want to still stay within your budget, I would go with this ram.

CPU: Intel Core i5 4670k GPU: MSI RX 480 Gaming X 8G PSU: Corsair CX500M Motherboard: ASRock B85 PRO4 RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 16GB SSD: Crucial M4 128GB HDD: WD Blue 1 TB

OS: Windows 10 Case: CM Storm Scout 2 Advanced

I know there are import fees/value add taxes in the EU, which in Denmark is 25%. You cant just convert currencies, due to VAT. So this would then sum up to about 511 bucks.

Not a bad deal, but I would always recommend building your pc by your self. It is not that hard, you can choose the parts that make sense for YOUR usecase and you could save about 20 bucks in your case.

Some of the part choises in this build really arent that optimal, like only 4GB of RAM, only 1GB of VRAM and no aftermarket cpu cooler, which you really need to get the most out of a Pentium K. And 500GB is also a bit small of an HDD.

If you dont have more to spent NOW, you can still upgrade later and get a second 4GB stick or RAM for example. But crucial parts like the GPU you should get the right one now. 1GB of VRAM just isnt enough today, even for most games at 1080p.

This is what I would recommend for a budget gaiming rig. I know its a bit over budget, but this is what I would aim for as a basic gaming rig. As said, you could just get one 4GB stick now get the second one later.

I just went to the website you linked, so you get the actual prices in your country. Sorry that it is just a screenshot, but I didnt fancy registering to save and link the cart ;)

Thank you all very much for the very quick replies. I know building a PC all by yourself is cheaper, but I lacked som knowledge about which parts are the most crucial.

Hello,

I still have to build my first pc and if you are unsure, just go on youtube and watch countless of videos. Maybe you can ask one of your friends of they have build a computer? If so I am willing to bet they could assist you in building it!

@lolbry9 the problem is the delivery costs. It almost costs the same as the parts. Shipping to Denmark is very expensive.
