First PC ever ~ Help needed

Im planing to build my new PC but I am completely new to PC's can someone please help me put together a part list for the best PERFORMANCE/PRICE tower only build. my budget is $1350 AUD. Prices can be found on http://www.staticice.com.au/

 

I want to game on ultra settings and would prefer to OC but am willing to save the money for upgrade in other parts if you think its more 'bang for buck'

 

Only need:

- CPU

- Cooler (only if u recommend OC)

- mobo

- GPU

- RAM

- PSU

Thoughts on the MSI PC Mate on overclocking and power phase design etc. im not really worried about features and stuff

No the best board for overclocking. One option would be to skip the Hyper 212 EVO cooler initially and get a better motherboard. Then add the cooler later when you are ready to overclock.

You should be able to hit above 4GHz easily. Going really high though depends on the CPU too.

Nice build. Unfortunately the Hyper 212 EVO is 0.5mm too tall to fit in the case. See the drawing at the bottom of http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/cpu-air-cooler/hyper-212-evo/.
