In the attached picture im very confused on what the green circles do and mean. Someone please help.

The circle with 1800 is rpm. The red balls are probably to activate the RPM control. The 40 above CPU is the CPU´s heat in celsius

thankyou for the reply, ok but what do they mean and why are their two figures one for 'now'  and one above that which is what I circled etc?

Its monitoring tab. So I would guess that you can set alarms by using sliders. So min alarm for CPU fan is 1800rpm, max is propably around 2500-3000rpm. As for CPU temp, pretty much same. First I thought they would be for setting optimized fan speed and temp you want to get, but that would be Tuner tab.
