My gaming rig [ will buy this week ]






Ram: Corsair Vengeance Pro Series 2x4gb 1600Mhz [ will be upgraded later to 16gb ] 

Optical Drive: ASUS DRW 24F1ST

Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro

HDD: None atm, i got 1,2tb from my old pc that i will be using to save money

SSD: Samsung 840 EVO Basic 120gb


 

 

So this will be my build, i dont change the cpu cooler because i want h100i it looks better in my opinion 

 

 

 

So this will be enough to max everything? 

Gaming on 1080 so

Hello and welcome to the LTT forum

 

Get rid of the i7 and get the i5 if all you are doing is gaming. The i7 would only be useful in heavily threaded workloads.

Considering your usage type I would suggest getting some more ram. 32 would be ideal. :)

If you plan to game and edit like I've seen you mention then yeah this will be perfect for 1080p and all that other stuff. The future RAM upgrade will definitely come in handy, but if you plan to upgrade anyway I'd say going for a single stick of RAM would be better so you can max out your capacity in the future without having to get rid of the smaller RAM modules but that's up to you. If you can get an SSD of a higher capacity I'd say go for it, I've got the same SSD and really needed to start managing my space after a while.

That's more or less what my plan was I thought I'd be okay with just the 120GB SSD and my hard drive but I definitely plan to buy another SSD sometime soon. Either way it's a great SSD and your rig looks pretty darn good.

Alright thanks man, first i was planning to get the R9 290 TRI-X but after i did some research i decide to get the 780ti <3

my budget is 1600 euro, and i cant go over simple i dont got anymore money ssd is just a upgrade for later lol, i already have it at home..
