At first there won't be much of a difference than what is currently offered. Tho as DDR4 speeds start to rise above 2400 MHz (looks like G.Skill will have 3000 MHz sticks early) then we will surely start to see a marginal difference in the gaming performance of APU's. I personally would like to see Carizzo benched with DDR4-4266, tho that's not going to happen for a while.

first the APU die has to shrink

second it needs a new chipset to support DDR4

this means a whole new mobo

mobo manufacturer will have to redesign a new mobo

no way Asus will just give birth to another new mobo when they just launch the ROG Crossblade Ranger

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

looking at the prices of the DDR4 RAM currently

will wait longer for it to drop to sane pricing
