Mixed power cables

My friends pc just died out on him and he gave me his pc to work on. He cant find his power cable for his psu. I was wondering if I could use my power cable and plug it into his psu. Will this cause any issues?

From the wall or to the mobo? Both should be fine afaik.

Then yes you are able to use your power cable to plug it into his psu.
