What cable do i need?

I have a 7870 ghz 2gb sapphire i wanna do dual monitors with,but what cable do i need? I have one connected through hdmi, and then it has a display port and vga and dvi, but the dvi are longer than normal, thanks.

Any of those connections will be fine if you're using only two monitors.

Use either display port or DVI for the bestness

What other inputs does the 2nd monitor have? if its got DP or DVI then use one of em.

has a hdmi in and a rgb pc (dvi). So maybe ill pick up a Dvi duallink to hdmi?

Display port, HDMI, and DVI are all great to use, If you are using two monitors any combo of the cables is fine, if you do 3, you NEED displayport or an active dp adapter.

Anything will work just the same except vga, and chances are it will work perfectly anyway.

Like everyone has been saying, if you have an AMD Card, and want to have Two monitors, then use any two cables you can. you don't need any sort of adapters or converters, unless you don't have the cable. Ideally, do not use VGA or Blue cables.

 

This is also assuming they are 1080p or smaller monitors.
