Need help with my CM Storm Trigger mechanic keyboard

Hello there,

 

I just got my CM Storm Trigger mechanic keyboard (MX red switches) and I have a problem. 

 

The keyboard is fine but I have problems with the software.

 

I installed it correctly after downloading the latest version from the Website,

and heres the problem:

I want to start the keyboard driver, because there are 5 macro keys I obviously want to bind, but after I start 

the driver (even from the directory as an admin) the icon just stays grey.

So I'm assuming the software cant detect my keyboard ? Its connected and I'm typing this from said keyboard

right now. 

 

I heard on some other forum post that some usb 3.0 ports dont support the keyboards. I switched around some USB ports still the same thing again. 

 

I thought about one possibilty and thats my mainboards function called "super-charger" it disables the data stream for USB  ports, who need more power

(so you can charge your iPad eg.)

 

So I killed that program from the Task Manager.

Tried it again. Nothing. 

 

My Mainboard is this one: msi 970a g43, if that really matters.

 

 

I feel like I've tried everything, I even wrote a letter to the support, but they didnt answer yet, and I'm starting to regret this purchase, because

I could have spent 20$ less on another keyboard without those fancy macro keys and backlight.

it's a problem with my brain

 

i downloaded the wrong software.
