H220X Customizations

I want to replicate Linus' little hack on the H220x in his latest build guide. I want to shorten the tubes for a cleaner look and get bright white coolant. Can anyone give me advice on tools and procedures for this?

If you have to ask what tools you need, you probably shouldn't attempt this.

Not to be mean or anything.

Here anyways:

Most likely a screw driver, bottle of coolant + a way to cut the tubing, should be it.

It looks like there is clamps, undo those with a screw driver, take the tubing off, drain the rad+res+ cpu block, install the cpu block + rad, measure how long the tubing needs to be, cut with 1-2 inch extra and install, then refill the loop.

It's not really a hack since it's designed to be expandable. All you need to do is cut the existing tubing off over a sink or something, drain the existing coolant, put on your new tubing (make sure it's the right size), and fill it again.
