Setting up Raid 1 with win8 pro

Riddler356

First I would like to say that I don't know if this is the right location or not, but if not than Sorry it just seemed like the best place to put it from the choices.

As stated I have Win8 Pro. My motherboard supports Raid 1.

I want to know if it is possible to set up a Raid 1 solution without erasing the data on one of the drives.

I have two 3tb drives one of which has about 1.5tb of data already stored on it, I know I can just copy it over and keep the other updated, but I want to be lazy if possible. Lastly If possible I do not want to use a third party software to set up the Raid, because I don't want to have another program to worry about, I have enough already.

Nothing to see here, move along

nope its not posible to create raid but keep your data its just not posible you could however make an image of hdd and put it back after creation of the array

If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough it will be believed.
