700$ish build what do you think

I have just fibished a build on pcpartpicker for GhostWindGamer a amd version and a intel version I personnaly think the amd version is better for gaming but what do you guys think ^^

cpu cooler: the free one
ram: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

I tried to solve the problem of the heat on the amd processor with a noctua cpu cooler. So guys what do you think of those build anything to change that wouldn't change the price (no put 20 more $ in this it's worth it plz) I tried to respect the 700$

EDIT: we already have the hdd of the old system and the ssd upgrade is the first on the list (just to don't overpass the budget for now)

EDIT2: this was my answer to the thread xbone or pc

EDIT3: with those first comment I have changed the amd build ^^ the old case will be fine for the build so there is no case

both are exactly the same for gaming.

750ti is great budget card with low tdp... and thats about it. if you want to game, you have to spend more on graphics card.

Get an 8320, Source 210, and a better GPU.

I suggest you shift more of your budget towards a better gpu. Maybe an r9 270 if possible. You also dont need 90$ for a case, something like 50$ is more than sufficient imo.

for a $700 build both those cpus are overkill, drop it down to a FX-6300 and a GTX 760/R9 270x

Gpu is very useful in games xD Just get some cheap good case, there are plenty out there and you allready saved 70$ that you can direct toward better gpu like 7950 or r9 280 at 200$

Swap out the noctua cooler on the intel build and buy an R9 270 or if you can afford it, an R9 280.

For 700$, you can get better. Sorry, but I don't really have time now to make a full build, but just try something with an i5 4440 and a Radeon R9 270, that sounds like a better value to me.

How about something like this? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/vpqXVn

You would be ditching cpu overclocking for a better gpu. In my opinion cpu overclocking isnt worth it unless youre spending crazy amounts.

EDIT: You can drop the HDD and the 280 to a 270 if you want the SSD upgrade. You also wouldnt need a new cooler right off the bat

For gaming you want at least a 270. You can save some money and get a 7870, that's a last gen card but they use the exact same architecture. All they did was rearrange the circuit to make it more efficient.

You don't want to go overboard on the graphics card but you don't want to sell yourself short either. the 270/7870 are designed to max all current games at 1080p/60fps. They are pretty much at the sweet spot for gaming.

For the CPU you don't have to get a monster like an 8350, just grab a 6300 and overclock the hell out of it.

Your friend will be happy.
