This is normal. Don't worry.

Edit, nvm I thought your total was 4

Could you give us motherboard model and other specs please?

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

Any cache software on your machine.?

Any thing that uses dedicated ram to enhance performance?

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

I don't think so. I haven't installed anything like that.

@Tebo

Try booting with one stick, try each one

No creo que sea eso. Ya lo he intentado pero sigue igual. Tambien, las cambie de modulo pero no pasa nada. Creo que es de Software de la placa madre. Pero no se como actualizarla.

My guess is that 1 of your sticks failed. Boot with only 1 stick at a time. If one doesn't boot then that's your failed stick. You will have to send both into G.Skill for replacements though.

have you check MSConfig and under advance boot see if there is any limit set?

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

1: Make sure you actually are running 64bit O/S

2: Update BIOS

3: Disable onboard graphics in BIOS if possible

Crap, the same thing happened to my friend's mom when I upgraded her RAM for her (from 2GB to 4GB), but I forgot how I fixed it.

Check in MSConfig and see if there is a limit set or anything like that.

Guys, half of the memory is hardware reserved. Reservada para hardware isn't that hard to translate.

I beg to differ it actually is. Mostly because once I saw spanish I just skipped past it xD

It's showing 8 GB is in the system and functioning and half of it is reserved. A basic Google search will show you the same thing. :P

Well everything looks correct because it's displaying 8GB installed (Instalada), however the reserve shouldn't be 4GB - I don't know how to change it, lazy to find out, it's Friday. Anyone care to volunteer?

The most common result of insufficient wattage is a paperweight that looks like a PC
