Hybrid Crossfire

AleksandrS

Can you run 2 graphics card (example 2x r7 250) in crossfire with an APU and which cards can you crossfire with an APU I was reading something about only being able to crossfire 240 and 250 with an APU

No, only one discreet GPU can be hybrid crossfired with an APU iGPU and only certain specific GPUs.

It depends on the APU in question. The most powerful and most popular is the Kaveri A10-7850K. It can be run in hybrid crossfire with the R7-240 and R7-250 only.

No just one card and one APU

Frankly its not worth buying 2 cheap GPUs for, just get a better GPU like an r9 270

(or just get a basic dual core pentium or athlon quad core and get a dedi GPU)

Oh and, I know that a 7850k can crossfire, can any of the 7000 series APU's do the same?

yes the A10-7700 also can crossfire with the R7 240 and R7 250

but still we will suggest sticking to the iGPU in the A10-7850K

the iGPU has performance similar to the R7 250/X

good for most games like LoL, Minecraft

and it even can let you play games like Watch Dogs at 720P 30+fps constant

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
