and now i want to know how much FPS can i expect to get on this games:

*GTA V (When it comes out) i will be completely satisfied if i can get 45 FPS

*CoD Adv Warfare

*BF4

*Watch Dogs (I know i cant run it on 50 or 60 FPS lol but would my pc be able to run it at least at 40 FPS?)

Not much that dual core will hold the gpu back get a quad core something like a i5.

Beware of him that is slow to anger; for when it is long coming, it is the stronger when it comes, and the longer kept. Abused patience turns to fury.

cant comment on games that are not out yet...

BF4 - about 50-55 FPS on high settings no AA,  at 1080p

Watch Dogs - 50ish FPS on high , no AA, at 1080p

Crysis 3 - 25-30 FPS on high , no AA, at 1080p

Not really, not with an R9 270x

It doesn't even hold back a 780 that much

What is AA?

Anti-Aliasing, with it on you will drop 10-15 frames on average

Gets rid of jagged edges

What i meant to say in the first place is that if you come across a cpu intensive game you will feel the gap.

What point are you making?

They are using a much higher end GPU here so there is a big bottlleneck

With a low end card like the 270x  this bottleneck will be negligible as the OP will not be running at FPS higher than 60 anyway which the pentium is capable of doing

I think the rig looks actually pretty good. I mean you matched components that fit well. The pentium will not bottleneck the 270X. If you would be getting a 290 or 780, yeah maybe a little bit.

And yes you might get better performance with a better CPU, but it is a very solid budget system and it looks like you don't want to spend all your money on a PC.

Little idea. Since both the CPU and GPU are very cool running, you could actually build a very small ITX system. I would try and get the MSI 270X ITX version and put everything in a coolermaster elite 110.

The point, I believe, is that Bioshock isn't really CPU heavy game. Not like BF4 for example. With game that is GPU heavy, you won't notice difference in modern CPUs that much. But on CPU heavy game the difference can be huge.

BF4 is still perfectly playable on it though, and especially with a lower teir card, the card will not be held back much by the pentium, and only in a handful of games, this is on ultra, but since the 270x wont be playing on ultra anyway, a pentium or something is fine

Plus super easy to upgrade to an i3/i5/i7 in the future!

I agree, you can see it holding back last light here but its still playable

Now you are missing the point. Sure its playable. But with high gfx and 1080p you aren't getting over 50fps, even with higher end card. CPU matters just that much.

No I agree it makes a huge difference but on a limited budget there is not much you can do, the Athlon 740/750k could be bought for a similar price which is quad core but it lacks power in single threaded applications and day to day tasks

But without spending much and with the best upgrade potential I feel its a good option to fit into the budget of this build

Any CPU at this price will hold back medium to high end GPU
