Personally the ergonomics is a huge deal breaker to me the squareness looks uncomfortable although it's something to adapt to.

I listen to music when I use the bathroom so having the water resistant trait is quite handy & shouldn't mess-up your screen.

The specs are pretty high-end so 500 quid for a decent flagship should pay off.

Will it be a 4G LTE model? or 3G

4G still is bloody crazy! I'm very surprised there hasn't been much price drops for long term 16-24month contracts. 2GB of 4G connectivity "#youserious? Q_Q*" I get'cha. 3G unlimited bandwidth all the way! never liked having a cap.

CEX I found a HTC One M7 I might pick-up on ebay for around 300 quid, not too shabby but I either want to stick with my current One X till either apple or project ara present their spectrum into the smartphone market.

It's a great phone, I'd definitely recommend getting it.  Three have it for £28/month and £49 upfront with 1GB data, 600 minutes and unlimited texts, they have a £3/month add-on which gives unlimited data as well.

i would recommend the sony xperia Z2, but i personally don't like the OS and the shape. I would rather get a HTC One M8 or try and get a OnePlus One invite if you want to.

I can't get phone service with it yet, but suprisingly I like the ui, mainly just use it as my music player for now.

oh right, then i would go for the son xperia Z2 and try out the os, but if you dont like it you can always flash CyanogenMod onto it and have a pure android experience.

One X master race!! I agree, limited bandwidth is a pain in the ass! And I'm also waiting for project ara, Z2 is atm my last resort option. But for now I'll keep my One X and see how long it will last.

For some the big bezzels are a plus for additional comfort when watching youtube/movies.

Man I don't want to crush your hopes but project Ara is so ambitious it maybe has a 1% chance of succeeding, they even use a friggin' squarespace template as their official website, see how little google actually cares. I would just get a regular phone untill ara is mature ( which will take at least 5 years IMO.)
