What's a good amount of bias lighting? How bright should it be?

I have a white LED strip running and it provides about 10-12 inches around of bias lighting. The lighting isn't too bright. How bright should it be?

I get 60 frames at 1080p on a dual core APU. Ask me how.

actually bias light should be 6500k. note 6500k is pretty bright as my room has a 6400k fluro lamp and it lights up my 5 x 6m room with ease.
