Can this laptop run CS well?

nokturrduk84

Guys, situation is like this:

I'm going for vacation in another city & I can't take my PC with me, so I'll use my sisters' laptop for gaming. I'm gonna play only Counter Strike: Global Offensive. specs of that laptop are: (Lenovo) i3+4gb ram+GT 740m.

My question is: Will it handle that game normally?

It should be able to handle it, probably not the highest settings.

Yeah, it'll run it at lower settings.

I'm running with an i7 and a 660m and it's fine, but if you play on a 120hz monitor the laptop will feel shitty when playing CSGO no matter what.

Spoiler

i5 4670k, GTX 970, 12GB 1600, 120GB SSD, 240GB SDD, 1TB HDD, CM Storm Quickfire TK, G502, VG248QE, ATH M40x, Fractal R4

Spoiler

i5 4278U, Intel Iris Graphics, 8GB 1600, 128GB SSD, 2560x1600 IPS display, Mid-2014 Model

Spoiler

All the parts are here, just need to get customized cords to connect the motherboard to the front panel.

No, I have 60hz monitor. So, I'll be fine with that :)

Ok that's good, you'll be just fine! It's been hell these past 3 days with my laptop, I'm surprised I haven't gotten demoted from this 144Hz to 60Hz change.

Even if it ran at a decent frame rate, I wouldn't want to play a game like CS on a small screen. Head shots are hard enough on that game. ;)
