Worth it to get Xbox One for Halo?

Hello fellow members!  I was just curious to what you guys think of getting a xbox one mainly for halo and other console exclusives.  I already have a pretty good gaming PC so I dont need people telling me to get a PC instead.  I am just a really big halo fan and cannot decide if it is worth it.  I would also get destiny and cod just because they are good console games to chill on the couch and play.  I would still buy story games and what not on PC.

No, the recent Halo games are bad. 343 did a terrible job.

It's up to you. I say go for it though, consoles are better at providing a laidback gaming experience IMO.

 

I am going to get an Xbox One for Forza Motorsport 5, Horizon 2 and Forza Motorsport 6, along with the Halo Master Chief Collection personally.

If you love Halo, most definitely, especially for Master Chief Collection. If you're in it for Halo, you'll effectively have 6 Halo games on it. Plus any other exclusive that may come up that interests you.

This coming from someone who currently doesn't own an Xbox One yet.

I gotta say "no not really" personally I had quite a hard time with H4 (The sadness) & after watching some live streams on twitch & videos on youtube about the Destiny & H4.5 Guardians I really think that the interactions in-game are very poor on console. Even every current PC title has poor interactions with in-game objects (Oculus ain't good imo) I digress.

 

We'll have to see whether it's a worth buy when demo's are out.

Looking at the recent trend of "exclusive" titles, especially on the XBONE, it might be worth waiting a bit. Maybe we'll see a PC release a few months after release.

I agree with Antistatic12, only get it if you have disposable income (or a die hard Halo fan), then yes. If you're tight on the budget,  then save your money for something else like the next round of nvidia / amd gpus if you need an upgrade.

I have an xbox one, currently have Forza 5, ryse son of rome, and cod ghosts (for the boyfriend). That is all I have at the moment on the X1. When Halo master chief collection hits, I will be getting it. When Halo 5 is released, I will be buying it. I will also be getting Sunset overdrive, which looks like an awesome and fun game. If you want an Xbox one, I say pick one up. I would be surprised if Halo ever comes to PC again.

If you are a big Halo fan, guess you have no choice, wait until Halo 5 i really dont see the point right now only for Halo remakes.
