Cleaning of razer matte black products

Hey guys,

I own a razer mamba 2012 edition and I absolutely love it! I love the wireless functionality, the RGB leds and especially the matte black finish. However, I have been using this more or less every day since christmas last year and slowly darker patches where the fingers sit are appearing, (this is due to sweat and natural oils from the hand as I always wash my hands before using my computer). So, I cleaned my mouse with a very dilute solution of soap and water. This worked really well until I tried to dry the mouse. If you leave the mouse to repel the solution on it's own, smaller dark areas appear around where the fingers would sit on the mouse, and if i tried to wipe off the solution with a tissue or cotton wool pad it leaves very sutle smearing on the mouse. I also tried these two methods by cleaning the mouse with plain water after the soapy water solution but the same problems occurred, with dark patches or smearing. So, what do you guys suggest? A hair dryer maybe? I'm not sure, all I want is for it to look the same way it did when it came in the clear box, on a pedestal in absolutely perfect condition with an even colour (no dark patches).

Thanks

-Billy

I clean my Naga with Isopropyl Alcohol and it looks fine but I haven't been having the coloring issues you have.

I'll have to research Isopropyl alchol, but I don't really want to use white spirit at least because I've heard that it can damage the finish

Does that evaporate quickly or something? If so, I guess it could work...

It's really subtle, but it drives me crazy as my computer is the only thing in my life which I am really OCD about keeping clean.
