Why are you disappointed in LTT? This is an all Intel giveaway, LTT is just the messenger.

 

Anyway, 18+, back to school. Is this a contest for parents or something?

dammit I lost my receipt and cant even afford the postage well I can but I dont want to was the $1.50

I tried to enter it... but I couldn't submit the receipt.  Then I got this message "Thanks for entering" ...

"You can only enter once"

...

but.. I didn't get to...?  Oh well.

I definately agree, kinda dissapointed in the LTT Team this time around. Plus if it's back to school who has extra money to just throw away on a CPU they probably won't use anyways.

 

Why are you disappointed in the LTT Team? This is an entirely Intel giveaway, Linus has no part in this.

this is an intel promotion, not LTT.  he's just spreading the word. and its any intel product, not just cpu's.  so if you were gonna pick up an ssd anyways, may as well now.  perfect thing to spend that back to college grant money on :P

I think your right I'll just spent my grant on a new build :)

I have never been interested in LAN-like Cases. I had some Mid-Towers and then moved on to a Cosmos 2.

But since have to build a system that should go on a mountain, I got into this formfactor a little bit.

I find it is quite a good idea, because you can store whatever you need if you are not going crazy on the system.

However I feel like it is weird to do liquid cooling in such a case. There seems to be not enough room considering what I am able to do in my Cosmos 2

I was awaiting my shipment of new computer parts to arrive in the mail today, had to wait over the weekend as usual, so I decided to enter in my product key that came with my 4790K via email. To my surprise, I was a winner!! Well, not of the grand prize, but of my own personalized gaming Jersey. I guess whenever the entry time is over they will announce the grand prize winner. I was initially shocked because I never won a sweekstakes before, but the fact that I've had the promo code for 5 days and just now entered it seems strange to me. Be advised, they will announce second prize winners immediately after entry So if you purchased any qualifying intel product, you should enter it promptly.
