Which glasses frame to pick?

Hey guys! so I'm ordering my new pair of prescription glasses & like to know your opinion on a couple of the frames I've chosen. They'll be worn I guess 24/7 for heavy duty long distance use & computer work etc.

So I accidentally broke my main pair of prescription glasses (for computer use), if you'd like to know how I did it then just continue reading.
I basically rushed out this morning around 8am GMT to give my mother a couple floor cloths/rags because where we work there was a slight leakage of water, so as I'm attempting to put my trousers on I super knee kick my glasses and holy crap I man handled them. Both lenses are completely detached from the frame itself :(.

[spoiler='The broken one :(']

Personally I have started to like the rimless look because the bezel/frame gets in the way of my range of vision. I do kinda like full & semi rim as long as they're slim and/or look mature. So I'm here at this point and I'm finding a couple frames, I'll list a couple below use the bitly link or click on the model name which it'll re-direct you to an image I'll link.

What's your opinion on my choices like'em? Price isn't exactly an issue since some have a pretty great bargain.

Ps Don't forget to quote me or notify me by mentioning my username. Try to be serious,,,even though it's in the off-topic category please.

@wng_kingsley7 I think the Fineform look the best, I like the coppery look to them.  I'm not a big fan of the Harry Potter looking glasses though.

Either the Fineform or the Nike 8105. That's just my personal preference.

Not possible to recommend frames without seeing your face, go to an optician and try multiple pairs in front of the mirror.

I did go to the opticians fairly recently and like always not a whole lot of variety there in-store. Can I show my face or is that against C.o.C :-/ maybe I pm you & @ShadowCaptain bout that :)

I think it'd only be against the CoC to show someone else's face. If you want to post your photo publicly that's your choice.

It's only forbidden to post personal info without consent, if it's your own face then it's cool, quite a few people here have their face as their avatar.

Behold the ugliness..that is my face. I've been told my regular appearance is quite serious or clueless. Updating my gallery and'll post'em now.

@Askew @ShadowCaptain @Phobophobic @Jamdude Thanks for the comment, I'm not quite sure how will I look. I wanna try something new that I don't normally wear.

You look fine

I would say the fineform or nike look the best, I do not think the overly round small glasses will suit you

Since you have a round face, the fineform or Nike would suit you better than the other two.

Decided yet? @Askew @ShadowCaptain @Phobophobic Going to order a home trial of a couple.

Out of those I'd probably go for the fineform, I don't think the circular ones would suit so much as you don't look like Steve Jobs and they do in my opinion require that type of face or that of Gaben lol which you obviously don't look like either.

Perhaps the home trial is a good idea before choosing.

Oh great :) Thanks a bunch guys! I'll probably be putting down my trial order now or tomorrow so you might not hear back from me till maybe this weekend or next week. I'll write a PM with a link to me wearings those glasses for a reference.

The fineform or the nike would probably look good on you. (Although if i could pull it off myself i'd get the rimless round glasses in a heartbeat)

Ps.

I've been looking for a new pair for over a year. Can't decide on the frames and i can't find any frames that i really like... Glasses shopping is hard..

Totally, variety is a huge factor for picking the next pair down the line. Many of the boots & specsavers are my local opticians have limited due to being a health & medical store.

Most of my local opticians have a metric butt ton of frames on display.. It's just impossible to choose :( Especially since i need expensive extra coatings on them.......

I guess so. I have quite bad eye sight because I used to play a tonne of video games & stare at my monitor without blinking/looking away for at least 20 minutes.

Depending on the coating, I get the anti-glare, scratch & uv resistant package. If there ialso an option to thin down the lense I take it because my lenseare heavy. My prescription is light but not too heavy but quite bad for my age.

@wng_kingsley7

I vote for the Fineform 24 but its hard to choose them as many people have their own personal preferences

You look fine

I would say the fineform or nike look the best, I do not think the overly round small glasses will suit you

you took the words right out of my fingers

the current one seems small,i thought the fineform would be too big but it will look good on you (maybe your personal choice)

oh and if i were you i would super glue them back together :D and keep them on standby

oohh and also you good look into the rayban frames

I got that package on my current glasses. But i need the photochromic/Prescription sunglasses because of my photophobia (Light sensitivity) And that adds 100$ to the price :/
