Thermene, graphene-based thermal paste

Francesco94

Hello guys, this is my experience with Thermene, second generation:

I bought it a while ago, I had a temp problem with my i7 920, so I tried this esotic thermal paste that promised 6 degrees cooler operations.
I applied it, everything went well, maybe a bit too liquid in my opinion, but still, no problem.
Temps were good, a bit higher then what was advertised, but no problem, it was expected...
For some reasons I had to re-apply it after some months.... THE HORROR!!

I couldn't get more out of the tube, it was all dried out... I had to throw it away because it was useless :(

So, if you want a thermal paste that you can use once... Go for it;
If you want something more reusable and reliable go for something more classi and cheaper, like di MX-4 that I had to use.

Bye :)

Yes, as are most of the News articles on this forum

At least he posted what he thought about a product, it displays all appropriate information that he or she felt necessary

And about the original post, of course it is going to be shit, they are capitalising on the novel market, give something a fancy name and people will buy it even if it is useless as shit. Some people just want to make a quick buck, and this is one of the ways.

"News articles"?? This is a review not a news article. "Displays all appropriate information that he or she felt necessary" Although  I must agree with you on this partially there is alot to argue, although he/she may feel that this is enough this barely qualifies as a review. There is nothing useful in this review. Not even a single number showing before and after temps or load and idle temps just a horrible review.

What I'm saying is that you may complain about this review being not long or thorough enough, but you don't complain when people post a news article with hardly any text in it of the writers' own doing.

Because that's not what I come to do on THIS forum. For my tech news I go to other forums with more reliable info.
