Hey all

Ok i will be extending my property and want to get everything in the walls that I need.

I am looking at getting a cheap 4x4 hdmi matrix. Run hdmi 1.4/2.0 ready for 4k

4 inputs will be sky (uk sat), blu-Ray, Xbox and Apple TV .

4 outputs to 4 tv's. Max run 20m. Kids room 2m bedroom 5m kitchen diner 10m new living room 20m

Now I'm thinking cat6e linking the two rooms kids room and new living room to be. Gig switch either end. Or one gig switch feeding everything possible

I have a friend who deals with fibre patching so he can slice me some multi mode fibre cables around the house with plates ready for the future

But I don't want to put something in that won't get used.

Is there other solutions.

I don't want hdmi extenders really on cat wiring

I am budgeting £500 as I have the TV,s so no expense there.

Can the people out there help me find a good fear future proof solution
