Search: 32" TV (FHD, simple but good)

FCBenne04

Hey guys,

I am now searching a new TV with 32". It should have 1080p (FULL HD) and a HDMI-port. Since there is only DVB-T it sould already allow that. I don't need internet or Smart TV or? If I want to watch a movie or whatever out of the web it is possible to connect the Laptop via HDMI or not?

Greetings

Benne

Hi guys, thanks for answering.

The LG is great I think. But not available in Germany I think. I couldn't find that product on our market. Especially if you think about the convert into € it will be only 200-210 Euros.

@tomlambert01The Sony looks also nice but here it costs about 360 € incl. despatch: 380...

@Assassin is there an alternative for german market?

@ZetZet yeah, huge problem because all products have other versions in different countries....

Can you recommend Philips? I read some evaluations. Some people say that the device is really great for that price concerning the screen and so on. Some people say that the software of Philips is really bad. I don't know if I should buy this or a solid TV without much features..

Greetings

FYI if you look at the Full Specs, the 32" model is only 720p, which is insufficient as per @FCBenne04 original post.

@FCBenne04 Welcome to the forums! If you're posting a thread such as this one, it's always helpful to put in your opening post your geographical location (Exampe: Germany), since, as we found out already, not all products are available everywhere. It would also be useful to state your max budget, as well as your preferred budget (Say you'd like to spend $250 Euro, but you could stretch as high as $300 Euro if the deal was sweet enough - this is just an example).

Finally make sure to fully state all the features you want, and what kind of viewing environment it'll be in. This will let us help you all the more :)

Now, as for the topic at hand, honestly, any 32" 1080p model from LG, Panasonic, Samsung, or Sony, will all look good. Just look at the different features you want (Seems like you just want 1080p 60hz, as you've made no mention of 120Hz or 3D), and once you narrow down the features, I'd just buy the cheapest one out of the big "name-brand" TV companies, like I mentioned.

If you're really picky, you'll want to narrow down one choice from each manufacturer, and then compare reviews of them all, but honestly for a basic TV like you're asking for, any one of them should be fine.

One thing I recommend: STAY AWAY FROM NO-NAME BRAND AND "HOUSE/ECONOMY" BRAND TV'S! They tend to use shitty TN panels that have restricted viewing angles and cheap components. These are the ones that are likely to die on you. With a name-brand TV, you can at least generally trust it not to die on you after a year or two.
