Do you require your case to match your peripherals?

Gulrok

I use a lot of razer gaming items. Been itching for the Razer-H440 and wondering if I should just wait or say "screw it" and buy a different color H440.

How about you guys, do your cases have to match your peripherals?

I had a computer.. and then I let FedEx ship it.

I like to have a color scheme going, but I have a Corsair keyboard, Func mouse, and Cooler Master case. Branding doesnt really matter, they're all red LEDs.

I could be very wrong

I always prefer my peripherals to be RGB so when I change up colour schemes in my computer, my peripherals can match.

Why not.

Cause most of it is overpriced and you can find similar products that look and perform better.

Unless you're going for a green colour scheme of course...

Why are you not?

I enjoy and like razer stuff.

I've bought their stuff for probably closer to 6 years or more now.

I've always felt their items are quality. Never have I been disappointed.

Not really. Black case, gray-black HP PS/2 membrane KB, and a red M325 wireless mouse. After news of USB being security breaches. I never use USB keyboards anymore. Plus, I think PS/2 is better.

I tried to use a deathadder, but the buttons are too "light" and I tent to accidentally click when just resting my hand

maybe it was just a defective or worn out mouse though.

we're moving our way into thunderbolt being the new standard anyway so hopefully the issue doesn't exist in other interfaces

Pretty much everything in my setup is mismatched, but I hope to change that one day (when I actually have money to do it)

Lets see, I've had my keyboard and headphones from razer for over a year (they were gifts). I've spilled things into the keyboard ( never again haha ) and it continued to work.

Oh, and for my mouse in the last 6 + years I've had to replace it once. I'd say that isn't bad at all. I love the razer naga. Glad I went with the green edition of it too.

I've bought other things like headphones and other mice but usually ended up giving them to a family member when I upgraded.

Thats why I picked white LED peripherals, matches everything.

One problem. Thunderbolt is EXPENSIVE. I'd rather stick with USB, but now that I heard it can be remotely hacked, I feel safer with PS/2.

Nah, PS/2 was the best of the legacy ports.

WHEN YOU COULD BUY CORSAIR STUFF!?

I'm always going to tease you about this,

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

The only thing that might hack around here are loggers.

Nope. Last time I checked, a Define R4 dosent really match a cheap ass Tesco keyboard and a Razer Imperator 2012 Edition.
