Repeating manufacturer´s logo when booting

Go to solution Solved by Faa,

Yeah the fix for this is disabling the sata marvell controller and JMB thats for Esata. Every Asus board I owned "double posted" with the 3rd party sata controller.

Whats marked in red, change it to disabled. Make sure to have your drives in the intel controller (white & light blue ports)

I guess this sorta is bios-related so...  :)

I have an Asus P8p67 Pro Rev B3 - motherboard. Since I got the motherboard some years ago, the Asus logo appeares not once, but three times before my computer boots windows. Is this something that can be fixed with bios-updates or something else? Have been updating the bios a couple of times and still got the annoying repetition.

Same thing happens to me when I have my Raidr Express SSD and 780 in at the same time.

@Awesomesauce90

ok, three times at one boot or rebooting?

It repeats three times every time, boot or reboot: Two short times -> some regular text -> the third time for a couple of seconds -> booting windows

Check you Storage drive power cable then.

ALSO MAKE SURE YOU RUN UNDER AHCI MODE, I saw you've an SSD

What's AHCI mode and how do you enable it?

@Awesomesauce90

Check this on Advanced BIOS, Advanced->SATA Configuration-> SATA mode

Changed to AHCI-mode and still the same pattern :/

Did you check power cable (try a different one if needed)?

Aye. Will look up if there is a bios update that fixes it
