the 8320 by a long shot. Although, I'd personally avoid AM3+ sockets as they're very old and not going to be updated...

What are you using your system for?

That´s pretty much it. Usually the 8320 has very good OC potential with the right cooler and with its eight core it´s a lot faster than the six core. But yeah AM3+ has been around for quite a while... but that shouldn´t bother you too much since it may restrict you with upgrading in the future maybe but then you can build the next budget pc :) .

8320 has 2 extra cores.

What's the rest of the system & budget/use?

I bought and am still buying :

 HDD-Seagate ST1000DM003
RAM-Crucial BLS2CP4G3D1609DS1S00CEU Ballistix Sport Arbeitsspeicher 8GB (1600MHz, CL9, 240-polig, 2x 4GB)
Case-Sharkoon Rex 8 Value Midi-Tower PC-CASE
PSU-Thermaltake Berlin Netzteil 630 Watt 80 Plus
And will buy a GPU-R9 280 Video card.
And the max for CPU ist like 90-120 Euro

Then FX8320 should be a reasonably good choice for you on that budget.

Definitely try and get the 8320, if you really have to get an AMD chip. Considerately faster and more OC potential, provided you have a suitable cooler.

CoolerMaster Storm Scout 2 Black - Intel Core i5-4570 - CoolerMaster Hyper TX3 Evo - Sapphire Radeon HD7950 - Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB - ASRock Fatal1ty H87 Performance - Seagate Baracuda 1TB HDD - Sandisk SSD Plus 240GB - Seasonic G-550 - BenQ GW2255 21.5" LED Monitor

2016 MacBook Pro 13" - Google Pixel

the 8 core is much faster
i would probably go for the 8320 but you might need an aftermarket cooler if you care about noise
