unless you're going outside in a thunder storm or leaving it on carpet it'll be fine.

As in outside? I guess so... Hardware is not as fragile as people make it out to be.

I've had a board sat in a drawer for about 2 months that still works when I want to overclock something.

 

I'd imagine you'd be fine unless it's extremely humid in your area.

you can put it in the bath tub, with water in and it will be fine :) (aslong as you let it dry before powering it)

My old mobo has been sat in the dining room for at least a week or two and is still perfectly fine.

 

Motherboards are pretty durable pieces of kit. As long as you don't leave it somewhere it could easily fall or have something spilt on it it'll be fine for any period of time, as long as your wary of dust
