This is what data shaping looks like

Imgur vs Postimg.

Imgur takes over 4 minutes. Postimg takes less than 1 second on the exact same gif. Needless to say I'm switching ISPs. I'm tired of this shit.

edit: download speeds on diferent sites of the exact same gif

Only some costal cities get good speeds. I have a friend that lives no less than 20km from me and he only gets 12mb/s max.

Our fastest network is 20 and 40 mbps in corporate environments, outside of corporate our max is 10.. now that's sad. South African internet sucks and you pay like crazy.

Oh jeeze dude. Hope you don't pay too much for that. We pay $60. Soon we're switching to Centurylink which is $30 and 20/5. Not sure about their reliability though.

She's paying $160 a month for that, 2GB data cap (after that you get .5/.35), basic phone, and Dish. Not even a package they offer anymore. It was basic back in 2006.

I get 80 down 50 up. although I'm in Newfoundland, so my ping is always 80+ for servers outside the province, and 120+ in the US
