EVGA Hadron Air Airflow

xRedLizard

Hi there, I've recently built a mini-itx with the Hadron Air, and i wanted some help with the case airflow. The stock fans (2x 120mm) come set to exhaust, and I have some money to get the remaining parts:

-Noctua NH-U9B SE2 (I'm running the coolerbox from intel)

-Reference EVGA GeForce GTX 780

What fans do i purchase and how do i set it?

Thanks in advance :D

@xRedLizard

I'd get a pair of NFF12 fans from Noctua and run them off of molex with the low noise adapter on them, set to exhaust.

That's too expensive here in Portugal, it's like almost 30€ each...

Are the SP from Corsair good?

And I found a guy is saying to set the fans to intake to create positive airflow therefore less dust, is he right? http://pcpartpicker.com/forums/topic/16000-what-do-i-need-to-know-about-cooling-a-mini-itx-evga-hadron-air#cx189410

Yeah the SP fans are pretty good. If you set the fans to intake you will have positive pressure in the case, but because of the way the case was designed, it won't be able to expel the hot air fast enough and will result in hotter temperatures. It the fans are set to exhaust, the airflow pattern will follow natural convection currents, and get a performance boost because hot air rises, thus lowering your temperatures while not having to work as hard. Ultimately it wont matter too much, so it's up to you. Personally I would set them to exhaust, but it's your choice.

I will buy the SP fans and set them to exhaust and buy some filters for the dust (i live in a dusty area). Thanks for the help :D
