Cheap Video Camera?

Hey guys! I am looking to possibly get into some Youtube stuff! But obviously I will need some equipment to start :P I was wondering if someone could help me find a cheap (<$300) Camcorder and maybe a cheap tripod to go along with it? I would prefer one with a good built in microphone if possible!

If you have a good moddern digital camera they are pretty effective with a tripod, but usually dont have a great mic... I would go to your local costco and have a look

The Wannabe is no longer. Replaced by the Flotilla. If you replace every part of a computer is it still the same computer?

Sadly I don't have a camera :( And would an Ipad Mini have similar capture quality as a 300 dollar camcorder? That might be a good investment for me if they're comparable.

No i doubt it, besides no good way to prop it up, like a tripod would.

I'm giving a recommendation: whatever you do, do not fall on <150€ new camcorders that seem good, but in reality they're utter sh*t. One example of camcorders you should avoid is Aiptek AHD AF1 (I had that one, and I can tell you: if you have a relatively modern smartphone, the crapcorder is worse than your phone camera).

And a question: you mentioned a budget of 300... What currency? I assume it's GBP (£) based on your location.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.
