How exactly do I game on a phone/tablet?

Ok, no this isn't a noob question, but it's a rhetorical one.

 

I haven't found a single mobile game with a shred of depth or intrigue. They're all just simple games with maybe 1 or 2 commands for your character, and very little substance. Tons of endless running games or slingshot games and what have you...

 

Is there anything out there that breaks the mold? Maybe something with a plot? and strategy? like an RPG? hm?

 

If I can't find something good, I'm giving up on this fad. It's so dull and the games are so pointless why even game at all unless on actual game systems?

Try the Inotia series if you're looking for something with story... It's a top-down rpg but it gets hard and deep once you get past the initial levels...

i actually found a MOBA that i could play on my XPeria T but i forgot what it's called :/ was pretty fun IIRC

 

There was one that the guy who wrote Learn the League was working on... if it isn't paywalled I might enjoy it.

I'm on a Samsung GS3 right now but my contract changes in November so I'll be getting a new device soon.
